First-Year BSC Students

Over the spring and summer before your first year at BSC, BSC FA will prepare paper award letter and paper award letter revisions and send them to your home address. In addition, if other documents are required to complete your application, BSC FA will send paper notices about those requirements to your home address.

After school begins in the fall, follow up on requirements and changes to your awards on the TheSIS system. Be sure you understand your award letter and send any questions to finaid@bsc.edu.

If you have a student loan offer, note that you must actively accept the loan by sending a written confirmation to finaid@bsc.edu. Before you accept the loan, be sure to read about interest rates and terms and conditions of the loan on the Direct Loan web page. Note that entrance counseling is a requirement and that a promissory note is also required.
