Birmingham-Southern is a proud member of NCAA Division III, offering 20 varsity sports for men and women. The Panther sports teams are members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, which is home to some of the most prestigious liberal arts institutions in the country. Other members include: Austin College, Centre College, Colorado College, Depauw University, Hendrix College, Millsaps College, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College, Sewanee University, Southwestern University, and Trinity University.
