In a world where all search for something, many individuals have pondered life's deeper meanings. Perhaps you are intrigued by the opportunity to explore the different approaches to theology and the prominent role of religion within the context of philosophy.

The religion-philosophy interdisciplinary major at BSC will provide you with a basic historical orientation in the fields of religion and philosophy as well as give you experience in the current issues that are dealt with in these academic disciplines—like theistic and atheistic philosophies. It will also hone your skills in rigorous critical thinking.

The major is particularly useful if you plan to enter a theological seminary, go to graduate school, or do service/outreach in church or society. The program incorporates both the core courses of the humanities and the social and natural sciences.
