Politics is the art of the possible.

Political science is a common major if after graduation you are interested in going to law school, graduate school, or entering public service. We’ll help you develop your analytical skills, your ability to write, and your ability to communicate the results of your research.

Together, we’ll put a great deal of interest on the comparative approach to the study of politics as it relates to political culture, institutions, behavior, theory, and public policy. We’ll encourage you to apply your knowledge by meeting with practitioners and by working in political settings. Be warned though: this program is rigorous and you must be approach it seriously. It’s precisely the challenging nature of the program that has helped so many of our alumni go on to great success.
