These days, businesses and organizations are growing in size and complexity, placing an increased importance on reporting, controlling, and auditing skills. Today’s accountants do more than document the past—they help organizations plan for future ventures as well.

As an accountant, your role will be to advise management. But an accounting degree has historically been a fast-track path to leadership positions throughout the business world. Here, you’ll learn more than nuances of accounting skills; you’ll leave understanding economics, mathematics, computer science, management, and various other skills relevant to critical thinking and decision making.

So it doesn’t matter if you choose a career in public or private accounting, in business, with a nonprofit organizations or the government—you’ll leave here prepared to succeed.
